Picking commenced on the 24th of February due to veraison occurring roughly two weeks earlier than previous vintages. The season has been exceptionally dry, with a record-breaking 47 days without rain. As a result, there is an abundance of exceptionally high-quality, deliciously ripe fruit across all varieties. Our viticulturist Tim and the rest of his team have spent the last week bringing in our Chardonnay, with Malbec and Viognier likely being picked as you read this. Although harvest is far from over, the perfect growing conditions all season make us extremely confident in predicting 2020 will be another gold medal vintage!
